Making Belief

Our journey of 'Belief' Episode One - Losing My Religion

Episode 1 - The script has taken many different forms, layouts and lengths but finally at the start of 2025 (the first draft was in 2014!) the first episode was complete.

The first, working title of 'Losing My Religion', sets up the world and gives you a glimpse into the world of the main characters. The main focus of the episode will be on Karl Hadley (played by Wayne Edge) and how his past decisions have helped lead the world to the precipice of an unholy war.

The Script

'Belief' is a series over 10 years in the making.

In a world saturated by division and hate who knows what to believe in anymore? Do you still believe in the same things you used to?

Lies, fake news, manufactured 'facts' and AI all make it easy for others to make you believe in anything.

'Belief' aims to shine a light on why people believe in what they believe in and why they will fight for or against it.

Let the flawed characters of 'Belief' take you through this world. Can the selfish desires of their own beliefs change the world forever? Is it ok that they will do some unspeakable things for their causes, for their beliefs?

Belief is what makes the world go round.

The entirety of the story of 'Belief' spans 12 episodes. Each four episodes will be a 'season'. There was a point that the makers thought about making each 4 episodes into a separate movie but a series gives more time to develop the complicated characters and let the audience invest in their stories.

The first four episodes are titled 'Losing My Religion', 'World In My Eyes', 'All These Things That I've Done' and 'Nothing Ever Happens'.
